Who should apply to the MIT ReACT Certificate Programs
Refugees or displaced people who apply should be:
- registered as refugees, asylees, or displaced people with a UN agency or the appropriate local government agency
- proficient in English: to succeed in the program a minimum TOEFL Internet-based score of 90 (577 paper-based) or equivalent is recommended
- have math skills, SAT level or above
Applicants will take online maths and English fluency tests in order to be accepted into the program.
We aim to identify talented refugees, motivated self starters who thrive for excellence; Young, talented individuals who are looking to work hard and who will appreciate both the rigor of the MIT experience and the opportunity to engage with like-minded students, as well as the MIT community.
This program is designed to build on MIT’s reputation for preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
