ReACT Certificate in Computer and Data Science Program

In January 2018, MIT ReACT Hub launched its first program in Jordan with a certificate in Computer and Data Science. The first class of students is progressing through the online learning portion of the program, mastering MIT edX courses in Computer Science and Data Analytics. As ReACT students are beginning their professional paid internships, we have launched another application period for this certificate program. ReACT DEDP MicroMasters

MIT ReACT in partnership with the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab(J-PAL) has launched a new track in the MITx MicroMasters program in Data, Economics, and Development Policy (DEDP). Following an application process beginning in June 2018, ReACT sponsored  a select group of refugee students enrolled in the DEDP Program, by providing free access to (1) the five online MicroMasters courses, (2) in-person workshops in  entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional development, and (3) paid internships in the development field. Like the Computer and Data Sciences Program, the ReACT track within the DEDP MicroMasters will offer a blended model specifically designed to meet the needs of refugees and other displaced persons. It is our goal to use these program features to enable refugee learners to advance both their education and professional careers in an accessible manner. Applications for the current ReACT DEDP track are closed, please join our mailing list for up-to-date information.
